After Virat Kohli's brilliant 89 * take India to a challenging total of 192/2, the Indians put the hosts a good start to reduce West Indies to 19/2.
However, Lendl Simmons and Charles Johnson has some other ideas. duo hit the Indian bowlers to the cleaners like Wankhede Stadium gasped.
However, on the fifth ball of the seventh over Simmons, hit on 18, thick-edged Ashwin delivery to Jasprit Bumrah at short third man, who took a stunner. Wankhede erupted in joy, but no longer silenced a minute later as it was decided that the first step Ashwin.
Simmons then completed a half-century in 35 balls as West Indies ran towards goal.
