Man to face court over cricket bat murder

A man NSW accused woman to death in their southern Sydney home is bludgeoning due face court after being charged with her murder.

Tina Kontozis, 51, was found dead at Bundeena on Sunday afternoon after she was allegedly beaten to death with a cricket bat.

Her 17-year-old son with arm injuries Police have made the hospital indicated, are consistent with the defense wounds.

A 51-year-old man was wanted by the police 24 hours after the killing sacked by Canberra Hospital on Thursday after he was injured during a chase at the beginning of the week.

He was delivered from the ACT and charged with four criminal offenses, including murder, assault occasioning grievous bodily harm, assault occasioning bodily harm and a domestic violence arrest violated order.

The man was officially denied bail and is to appear due before Queanbeyan Local Court on Friday.
