Mohammad Amir likely to face visa issues for England tour


Pakistan fast bowler Mohammad Amir, who was convicted in the 2010 spot-fixing scandal, a visa for the upcoming tour of England could be denied this summer.
Amir was hit with a five-year ban by the International Cricket Council (ICC) at the height of his career and also served six months in prison for bowling deliberate no balls by prior arrangement in the fourth Test against England at Lord's in of 2010.
The British immigration lawyers said that Amir case on whether its inclusion in the country as opposed to the common good would be would depend, and added that it would be to do with his visa application at the discretion of the immigration officer, reported the Express Tribune ,
Amir displayed impressive form in domestic games as well as in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) before to consolidate in September after completing his five-year ban on his place in the national team again.
The 24-year-old appeared in two ODIs and 11 T20Is for Pakistan since his return, claiming a total of 16 wickets.
Previously faced Amir similar visa issues during the tour of his team to New Zealand, but was later allowed to travel the country to Pakistan and New Zealand boards shown its support for the tainted pacer available.
