No top Pakistani cricketer has for the position of head coach of the national team with some prominent players like Mohsin Khan, Moin Khan and Aaqib Javed insisting not want applied their time on paperwork to waste if the Cricket Board has already made, to his hand to appoint a foreign coach.
According to a reliable source in the board Pakistan, only two low-profile former players including Pakistan Manzoor Ellahi had for the head coach position within the deadline of 25 April, which had set the PCB, applied for interested candidates to send in their documents.
"The PCB has to have in his mind a foreign coach. When a Pakistani are sincere to take a chance, they can directly talk to me," former Test pacer, seen Aaqib Javed recently as the leader for the job, until said.
Aaqib said he did not send his application for the coaching committee of the head coach included Wasim Akram and Ramiz Raja selection list of the board already suggested to have a foreigner.
