In cricket there is no need for a coach: Abdul Qadir - Is He serious?

At a time when the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is looking for a head coach for the national team, Abdul Qadir, the former Pakistan spinner to appoint, instead suggested to be the captain, all power given.

Qadir felt put an end to all that the captain should be held responsible for the team's performance. "Every time we get a series or tournament the captain and coaches blame each other for losing the results. Pakistan has with the likes of Bob Woolmer, Dav Whatmore, Geoff Lawson had several foreign coach at the helm of affairs in the past. Qadir felt, however, that although Pakistan several foreign coaches had for more than a decade, they failed something with the team to achieve. "Between 1999 and 2014, we had several foreign coaches and what they have achieved is nothing. The only time that we 1992 World Cup or the 2009 World T20 title Intikhab Alam had won responsible for the team," he stressed.
