"Right now we have to go our partnership, RCB got going their partnership, got Kolkata go their partnership. That is the key, if we bowl to break this partnership, and if we shrug our partnership continue," he said said at the press conference after the game.
The game saw a 90-run opening partnership between Warner and Shikhar Dhawan. Warner praised Dhawan, the first to form after an unimpressive run, returned.
"Shikhar can Nothing, in the last two games, he's kind of looking for the form that we know to be in. He hits the ball well. We are working again at the top of the order. If you get a good partnership at the top of the order to go, it helps a lot, "Warner said.
He said, however, that either he or Dhawan should end the innings, how well beaten.
"If I am to be me or Shikhar it should be by the end critical. For the last game (against Gujarat Lions), we have," he said.
The captain congratulated the SRH bowlers, including Mustafizur Rahman, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Moises Henriques for their performance in the match against KXIP, although the team missed the services of experienced Ashish Nehra because of an injury.
"I have said in the past that if our bowlers bowl well, it is our task Our bowlers facilitated. Adapted very well. I could not have asked for a better game of bowlers ... They did a fantastic job , " he said.
"The pleasing thing for me Fizzy was the fact that Bhuvi rolled very well last game. This game rolled very well. Hopefully (Barinder) Sran can bowl better than what he is now bowling. He is bowling fantastically in advance. They are gelling well together, "Warner said.
