Pakistan's new chief selector Inzamam-ul-Haq is not satisfied with the condition of pitches for a Top current domestic one-day tournament will be used and also with the quality of cricket on display at the event.
Inzamam, who was appointed recently Pakistan's new chief selector, said he would like to see more Sports Facilities in Pakistan Cup one-day Tournament underway in Faisalabad in which participate the top player in the country.
"I do not think the pitches are currently producing in use generally in domestic cricket or in Pakistan Cup help quality cricketers. It is not my domain to speak on pitch, but they play an important role in in any format quality players produce" the former Pakistan captain said.
The Pakistan-Cup, in its fifth day has so far failed to produce high scoring games and bowler and bats have struggled both on slow, low and sluggish bounced places.
Inzamam said pitches for one-day cricket should encourage the players, not only their strokes and team play large sums to obtain, but also some encouragement to bowlers.
He said that would put the new selection committee much emphasis on picking players who could perform under pressure and in difficult conditions.
He said all players including seniors like Shoaib Malik, Mohammad Hafeez Kamran Akmal must only perform well in domestic cricket to keep the voters on their toes.
The Pakistan-Cup after Pakistan Cricket Board will serve as a platform for the selectors probables for national investment to bring stock that is in Abbotabad set up starting next month for the tour to England in July-August to prepare.
The board has the team captains and trainers allowed to bring their players, but also made it mandatory for the team in their ranks to have at least two U-19 players.
