New Delhi: Virat Kohli has several great qualities that young cricketers must strive to achieve.
However, to pick out one aspect of the 27-year-old's personality that really stands out, it has to be his self-belief.
Even from a very young age, the right-hander backed himself to come through in tough situations – be it in life or cricket.
A glimpse of this was seen when the crew of Trans World Sports, a sports-related television program produced by IMG Media, traveled to Delhi in 2007.
They were in capital city to meet to meet Virat, who was the rising star of Indian cricket at the age of 18.
During a short interview, young Virat spoke of what kind of batsmen are appreciated by Indian fans and his career objectives going forward.
Since then, Virat has not only gone on to captain the country but is now the first among equals in Indian cricket.
